Preparing for the Shift - It's Easier Than You Think

If you have been connected to a spiritual community there is no doubt you have probably heard a lot of talk about the shift our planet is going through. I was inspired to write a few tips on preparing for the shift. Although I can’t prove this, as a sensitive I intuitively feel that new frequencies are coming to the earth at a rapid rate not to mention the earth changes that seem to be happening at an accelerated rate as well. Even those that do not consider themselves spiritually minded, have to admit that change is in the air!

Have you noticed that time seems to be moving faster? Have you felt a bit more spacey or forgetful than usual or do you feel constantly tired? I intuitively believe this is a result of our bodies assimilating the new energies that are coming to our planet.

Here are some tips on preparing for the shift and how to psychically deal with all the changes going on:

  • Ground by connecting with nature and putting your bare feet on the naked earth. Doing the grounding guided meditation I offer for free.
  • Opening your feet chakras (center of your feet) and pulling in earth energy and feeling it traveling up and down your body.
  • Opening up your crown chakra (top of the head) and feeling the universal cosmic energy traveling up and down through your spine.
  • Staring at the moon, a sunset, the ocean, the stars, and contemplating infinity not just outwardly but inwardly as well.
  • Drinking more water than usual. Blessing the water with love by holding the container of water in your hands and sending love to it from your heart and out your hands.
  • Sitting in silent meditation and listening for guidance from your heart.
  • Being in your heart and feeling your connection to the divine. Living and making decisions from your heart. Feeling and acting out of love, gratitude, and forgiveness.
  • Letting your heart guide your mind, not the other way around.
  • Sending love and prayers to the earth and all of humanity (you can listen to the global peace meditation I recorded). Seeing and feeling the oneness and interconnectedness of all life, not only on this planet but all throughout the galaxy.
  • Letting go of the hurt, resentment, and anger while knowing that holding onto these emotions hurt you more than they could ever hurt anyone else.
  • Accepting your role as a powerful creator. And how do you create? Through your vibration, intentions, prayers, visualizations, beliefs, your focus, and most importantly through your love, the most powerful tool of creation. The gateway to your love? Your heart!

Lets love ourselves into a new reality! I honestly believe it can be that easy.

    This is so fitting for what I have been shifting toward emotionally in the past week! Coincidentally, I was just at an event where I heard a speaker talking about how the heart puts puts out more electrical activity than the brain. So this further food for though, on how to follow the heart over the mind is really tugging at my conciousness, and now , thanks to the words above, I am understanding better why!

    Novalee, thanks for sharing! Did you know that when you are in your mother’s womb your heart is the first organ to develop and then the rest of your body forms around your heart? Seems like the heart is pretty darn important!

    Hi Cecilia,

    I am experiencing all the symptoms you outlined in your blog, as are my friends who are in tuned with the current energy. I am, as they are, feeling the transition and doing my best to stay balanced and trust where this is leading.

    Thanks for sending the link to your recorded phone meditation. It downloaded in to iTunes on my computer, and when it was completed the song Heart of a Celt, by Peter Sterling started playing, and I thought it was part of your call. I realized it wasn’t part of your call after all, it just started playing automatically.

    It was a nice surprise and synchronicity too.

    Coincidentally, I found you when I was looking up raw food recipes on the Internet, and I discovered raw glow. I have been struggling with eating raw consistently. I began this journey in January of this year. I enjoy how I feel when I eat raw. I am experimenting with recipes—tinkering with other people’s recipes until I create the flavor profiles I like. My husband has asked when I am going to stop buying new kitchen appliances and gadgets – I told him I still need a larger food processor, and eventually a dehydrator.

    Maybe you could create a raw food meditation that helps budding raw foodists to transition in to a healthier life style, connecting to earth mind, body and spirit. What we eat, think, say, do affects our life, other lives.

    Hi Jan,

    A lot of us, “sensitives” are also noticing old negative feelings and patterns coming up to the surface to be released. I like what you said about, “trusting” where this going.

    Will have to check out Peter Sterling as I love harp music.

    I have some ideas about how to bridge the raw foods info with the work I am doing now but nothing concrete yet. Thanks for the idea about the meditation, gets my head spinning with inspiration.

    I will definitely try to keep the non Facebook guys and girls involved as well.

    yes, yes, please more about the connection with raw food. the only time i truly feel connected and in tune with these shifts is when i’m eating almost all raw food. but its so hard to feed a family cooked food and also have time to make myself raw food. i could use some more motivation:)

      Raw foods does help, but I find that meditation and prayer can really help us get in touch with our soul, our intuition, and our inner guidance. I will definitely be offering more meditation tools in the future.

        Hi Tangela, thank you! These are the messages I have been getting for the past few months, and they have helped me a lot so far! I used to think the shift was mostly about the earth, but now I feel it is about us and how far we want to grow and evolve. It’s a very exciting time!

    Welcome, I’m glad you stopped by! Yes, a lot of change is happening at the micro and macro levels. I don’t know anyone who has not been affected in some way. Many of us are questioning our life purpose and letting go of relationships, thought patterns, and ways of being that no longer serve us. Although painful, I believe this is a good thing! My hope is that through grounding and focusing on the heart it will make the changes a bit more bearable! Thank you for your kind note.
